Husband

December 15, 2004

By: Bill Shaw

Ray was my husband, my lover, my friend.

He was my Rock I leaned on, right to the end.

The 30 beautiful, but short years that we shared,

Each day sayinh, "I Love You" & "How much we cared".

He was always happy, & could brighten my life.

With one beautiful smile, he could end all strise, & strife.

He is gone now, & oh too soon,

A great void in my life is starting to loom.

Good-bye my husband, "I'll Love You Forever".

Good-Bye my husband, until we're together.

Husband, Dad, Father-in-law, Grandpa and Friend

Though I didn't know Ray very well.
Through my observations I could tell,
How he loved his children & grandchildren & how he cared.
And of what he had he always shared.
To Ray his family was his life.
He would do what he could to ease their strife.
From dawn to dusk he did toil.
Working the hard unforgiving soil,
A strong-willed man, for all the right reasons.
Funny & thoughtful, a man for all seasons.
With a smile that would brighten, anyone's day.
He loved his life and stood tall, & he did it his way.
You were a Husband, Dad, Father-in-law, Grandpa, & Friend
You will be missed by all, but their love for you will never end.

Brother & Son                                              Remember Me
Somewhere in our dreams tonight                              Remember me in quiet days
We'll see you standing there                                            While raindrops whisper on your pane
You look at us with a smile                                              But in you memories have no grief,
"Life isn't always fair"                                                       Let just the joy we knew remain.
You say you were chosen for his garden                           Remember me when the evening stars
His preciously hand picked boquet                                    Look down on you with steadfast eyes.
God really needed me                                                      Remember me if you once wake
That's why I couldn't stay                                                   To catch a glimpse of red sunrise.
It's said to be that angels                                                    And when your thoughts do turn to me
Are sent from above                                                           Know that I would not have you cry.
I've always had my angel                                                   But live for me and laugh for me,
Brother and Son - whose heart was filled with love            When you are so happy, so am I.
Wherever the ocean meets the sky                                     Remember an old joke we shared
There will be memories of you and all of us                      Remember me when spring walks by,
When we look up at that sky so blue                                  Think once of me when you are glad
All we see are visions of you                                             And while you now live, I shall not die.
While there's a heart in me ,
You will be a part of me
