Ray was born on March 1, 1956 in Sidney, Nebraska to Harold and Glenna AddlemanRay was one of five children.  Ray graduated from Deer Trail High School in 1974. He then married the love of his life Carol Turecek on July 6, 1974.  They then moved to Agate where they started their faimily by having 2 sons together Brice and Shelby. They continue to live in Agate still to this day where Ray and Carol have their Farm.  Addleman & Son's Farms.  During their 30 short but beautiful years together not a day went by that they did not tell each other how very much they loved one another.  Ray would always brighten Carol's day with his wonderful smile.  Carol not only lost her husband she lodt her partner and her best friend.  Ray left a tremendous void in Carol's life along with so many others.  Ray was a very genuine man, he was so kind, generous, strong-willed, thoughtful and loving.  Ray has a heart of gold.  His priorities were his family and his farm.  His family was his life.  You could not have asked for a better man.  Ray always made any situation into a funny one.  Even when he was being a smart a**, he NEVER had an unkind word to say about anyone no matter what , even if he was upset that was one thing about Ray.  He told me "I could not ask for a better family" and my response was "No Dad we could not have asked for a better Dad, Grandpa, or Husband"  Ray never put his needs above any other, in his eyes everyone else came before him.  He always had a smile on his face which would brighten anyone's day.  During Rays very happy and loving but short years he enjoyed farming, and running his hog and cattle ranch.

Ray also worked for Awful John;s Grain Exchange and all of the many other Awful John's Business's.  Ray was always there to lend a helping hand.

Five Grandchildren Kristen, Vanessa, Seth, Britney and Brice Addleman Jr. also of Agate Colorado
